Your personal data is therefore handled and secured with the utmost care, in accordance with the requirements set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data of candidates

When do we collect your personal data? We collect your data from the moment you fill in or leave your data on our website, apply for a specific vacancy, or otherwise register or are registered to use our services.

We may also collect data from you if you have placed it on public resources from which it could appear that you would be interested in work-related services. In that case, we will approach you to see if you are interested in registering with us in accordance with our terms and conditions and in observance of this privacy statement. If you have no interest in our services, you can report this back to us. We will then immediately delete your data.

Why do we collect your personal data? We collect and process your data for the execution of our services, including mediation, ZZP contracting, recruitment & selection, personal development and employability.

More specifically, your personal data is processed to:

  • make you offers and/or provide information about the services and other activities and better tailor these to your wishes and qualities, this is done by our employees;
  • approach you for our newsletter;
  • assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation to work or an assignment, whereby use can also be made of test results, reference checks, etc.

What personal data do we collect from you? We process the personal data that is necessary for our services; part of this data is mandatory to be able to use our services. Additional data may be desirable to better tailor the services to your wishes and qualities, or to meet more specific questions or obligations from clients. You are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the data you provide.

More specifically, this concerns — among others and where applicable — the following documents with personal data:

Upon registration:

  • Name, address, and residence details, email address and other contact details
  • Birth details, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, internships and work experience
  • Data about employability
  • Other data that may be important in the context of assessing the suitability of the candidate; for example, references and certificates are only requested after your consent and at a later stage.

e-people does not record special personal data in principle, unless this is necessary to comply with legal obligations, insofar as consent has been given for this, or if this is otherwise permitted by or under the law. ‘Special personal data’ means: data about race, religion or belief, political opinion, health, sexual orientation, trade union membership, criminal personal data and/or personal data about unlawful or disruptive behavior.

With whom can we share your personal data? e-people can pass on your personal data — only and exclusively after approval by you — to its clients or other stakeholders in the recruitment and selection process.

How long do we keep your personal data? The retention period that e-people uses is 6 months if you apply for a specific vacancy. If you register yourself, you can indicate the retention period yourself on our website. After this period, you will be given the opportunity via a mailing to actively delete your data. Of course, you can also instruct us to delete your data at any other desired moment.

If you no longer want to use our services, you can unsubscribe at any time. You can indicate this via the mentioned email address (info@epeople.nl) or telephone number (020-4634001). We will immediately delete your data.

Personal data of business relations

(contact details of employees of clients, suppliers, partners, sellers, referees and any other entity with which we maintain a business relationship).

e-people processes the personal data of persons who work for companies with which we do business: (1) for providing information regarding recruitment and selection activities, (2) for maintaining the business relationship, (3) for concluding and maintaining client agreements.

We process, among others, the following personal data of business relations: • Names, contact details and positions of contact persons.

YOUR RIGHTS

Access and/or modify data

For candidates: As a candidate, you can have your own account and through a password you have access to a large part of the personal data registered about you. If you want access to your complete personal data processing and/or want to change or delete data that you cannot adjust yourself, you can contact e-people.

For business relations: You have the right to access and modify or delete the personal data registered about you. You can contact e-people, Bas Westland for this purpose.

SECURITY

e-people does everything to optimally secure your personal data against unlawful use. We do this through physical, administrative, organizational and technical measures. For example: only authorized persons have access to your data. If and insofar as data is provided to data processors who provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of e-people, e-people has agreed with them that they also optimally secure the personal data.

Questions, comments, complaints or (suspicion of) data breach

If you have questions, comments or complaints about the protection of your personal data by e-people, you can contact us by email or in writing via info@epeople.nl or e-people, Czaar Peterstraat 160, 1018 PW Amsterdam. You can reach us by phone via 020-4634001.

If there is a suspicion of a data breach, we ask you to report this to us immediately. Please mention name, contact details and a description of the situation.

CHANGES

e-people may from time to time make changes, additions or modifications to our privacy statement for various reasons. The most current privacy statement can always be viewed on our website www.epeople.nl. This version was drafted in July 2025.
